This trip focus on fishing for big brown trout from rubber boats whilst moving down the river. The key to succeed in this kind of fishing is to do precise and fast casts to places where the trout can be hiding out around different structures. Grayling is available throughout the river as well.
The river that you will be fishing in enters another river and that is the final camp, where fishing will be done around the small island for both brown trout and grayling.
The fly fishing is done mostly with relative short rods in order to do precise casts. Different kind of streamers is the main fly style, in different sizes. Nymphs can also be used for drifting. Prepare for a versatile style of fishing during the trip.
At the islands, other kind of flies can be used.
FLY PATTERNS AND STYLES
Imitations of artic nature in the form of brown, grey and dark colours are most commonly used. Medium-size and large streamers can be used in different colours. Nymphs can be quite small.
